Wandsworth Borough Council
Wandsworth Borough Council wishes to introduce lifts at the London Underground East Putney station to provide Step Free Access in common with many other stations on the LU network. Providing the lifts will be an enhancement to TfL’s East Putney and Upper Richmond Road Urban Design Study and will complement the improvement works to the station forecourt currently proposed under that project.
Wandsworth Borough Council has appointed a design team comprising station planners and architects, construction methodology specialists and construction cost advisors to review the available options, to provide sufficient information to assist in the selection of a preferred option by WBC and LU, and to validate that preferred option to arrive at a feasibility cost and delivery programme.
